The furnace is used to test burners with medium/high speed, autorecuperative burners or burners with M and 2P into radiant tubes up to with capacity up to 500 KW. It is provided with 3 cooled peepholes for inspection.

• N. 1 front slot for burner Ø 320 with air inlet DN150 (500 KW max).
• N. 1 high slot for burner Ø 600 with air inlet DN150 (500 KW max).
• N. 2 side slots 1350 x 450 for M & 2P radiant tubes.
• Maximum combustion chamber temperature 1250 °C.
• Maximum air flow Qmax = 600 Nm3/h @ 500 °C with external heater.
• Portable smoke analyzers TESTO 330/335/340 for different gases (O2, CO and NO/NOx).
• Measurement of the flow of air and gas through POP-US calibrated flanges (see data sheet E5719).
• N. 1 “S” thermocouple series for thermoregulation.
